The Arizona Diamondbacks, ‘D-Backs’ or ‘Snakes’ among fans, are one the most celebrated teams in Major League Baseball (MLB). Tickets to their games are always in demand with their loyal fans. Ticket demand also increases when the Diamondbacks go against the Yankees.
The team was awarded its franchise in 1995 and began to play for the League in 1998. A few years later, in 2001, the Diamondbacks were able to take home their first World Series title. Jerry Colangelo is widely considered as an important factor in the Diamondback’s early success.
The D-Backs saw experienced a slight downfall from 2003 to 2005. By the year 2006, however, the team is steadily regaining its footing and is aiming to recapture earlier glories. To further their move towards a new era, a color and uniform change was implemented in 2007.
In March 2008, the Diamondbacks won an opening game against the Cincinnati Reds. In the summer of that year, former team member Tony Clark was traded back to the Diamondbacks. Dan Harren also signed up with the Diamondbacks that year.
