The team holds the NFL record of having 20 consecutive winning seasons from 1966 to 1985. 1970s became the record decade of the Cowboys. In 2007, Forbes Magazine published an article naming the Dallas Cowboys as the most valuable football team in the world with the worth of an estimated $1.5 billion, generating $250 million yearly, making them one of the richest NFL football teams. The Cowboys are also known as the America’s Team because of its popularity and success.
