The Dallas Stars are a well-known ice hockey team, based in Dallas, Texas. The franchise belongs to the Pacific Division of the Western Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Stars game tickets are always in demand, especially among loyal fans. The team was formed in 1967 and was originally called the Minnesota North Stars. The team transferred to the Dallas, Texas for the 93-94 National Hockey League season and they change their franchise name to the Dallas Stars. The team started to win championships in 1996 and eventually won their first Stanley Cup in 1999.

In 2009 season, the team made some major changes in their front office and coaching staffs. They hired a new general manager - Joe Nieuwendy. They also hired a new head coach Marc Crawford.
