He has successfully released five comedy albums: Retaliation; Vicious Circle; Rough Around the Edges: Live From Madison Square Garden; Harmful if Swallowed; and Isolated Incident. Among the five albums, Retaliation was the most successful and went on to become a platinum record.
As a film actor, Dane Cook appeared in several films since 1997 some of which include Employee of the Month, Good Luck Chuck, WaitingÖ, Mystery Men, Mr. Brooks, and My Best Friend's Girl. It is worth noting that his role in the film, Mr. Brooks was his first non-comedic role.
