Dashboard Confessional is a band that is known for their music in the indie and acoustic genre. The band was founded in 1999 in Boca Raton, and its alternative rock band members include Chris Carrabba, Scott Schoenbeck, John Lefler, and Mike Marsh.
The band actually started as Carrabbaís solo side-project at the time he was with another band called ìFurther Seems Forever.î His first album as ìDashboard Confessionalî was recorded in 2000 entitled ìSwiss Army Romance,î while the other bandís debut album was recorded the following year. However, he left his band to further pursue Dashboard Confessionalís road and ended up recording the second album ìThe Places You Have Come to Fear the Most.î
Recently, the band has contributed a song for the film Jenniferís Body, and is currently performing in Bon Joviís Circle Tour in 2010 as an opening act. They have also released a new album which came in two discs: one for full band version and another for acoustic version.
