Dave Matthews Band Tickets

The Dave Matthews band was formed in early 1991 at Charlottesville, Virginia. The band consists of Stefan Lessard, Leroi Moore, Boyd Tinsley, Carter Beauford and Peter Griesar (died in 1993). On November 9, 1993, the band released its first album “Remember Two Things” under Bama Rags label. It was an indie success on college charts and went gold. Dave Matthews Band then signed up with RCA and released their debut album “Under the Table and Dreaming” in September 1994 which within a year reached four times platinum. In 1996, the band recorded “Crash” which went no. 2 on pop album charts. The band also earned a Grammy in 1997 for their single “So Much to Say”. On October 28, 1997 an official double disc “Live at Red Rocks” was released without any promotion and went no. 3 on the Billboard 200. On April 28, 1998 “Before These Crowded Streets” went no. 1 on the Billboard 200. The following records and tours by the band were sold out and successful as always.The band’s first official gig was on May 11, 2001 at a private party in Charlottesville and its first public show was in the city’s Earth Day Festival in the same year.
