Diary of a Worm, a Spider and a Fly is a kidís musical that will have its world premiere on January 23, 2011. The musical is based on the childrenís books written by Doreen Cronin as well as Harry Bliss. The basis of the musical include the books ìDiary of a Spider,î ìDiary of a Worm,î and ìDiary of a Fly.î
The musical engages children to ask whether or not Spider is getting a bit too big for his skin? Or they might wonder if Fly will be able to tap into her superhero powers in the nick of time to save Aunt Rita from impending doom? Or will Worm ever be able to stand on two feet ñ when he does not have any feet at all? All in all, the musical enables children and adults to take a look at the whole world from the perspective of the bugs, and perhaps see how the lives of the bugs are not that far from their own.
