Ella The Musical is a musical that features over a dozen of Ella Fitzgeraldís hit songs that have been woven into a story about the career and life of the singer herself. The musical was first performed in 2005, and has since then been performed on and off over the past five years.
The musical effectively showcases the soul and spirit by featuring nothing but the best songs of jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald. Over the five years since its conception, the musical has been performed in over 20 theatres all over the country, and has racked up not only big box office notes but also raves and glowing reviews. Though the jazz legend has already passed on, Tina Fabrique, the actress portraying Ella, has been able to effectively capture Ella as though she was still right in front of the audience.
