Futbol Club Barcelona, also known as Barca, is a football club that was created on November 29, 1899 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The club was created by a group of men that was led by Joan Gamper, and has since its creation become more than just a club to Catalan, but more of an institution.
The club is known for being one of three clubs that have never been relegated from La Liga. It also comes second to Real Madrid in terms of success since it has a more than thirty league titles under its belt. Plus, the club has been very successful in European football with its fourteen titles won.
While Barca faces a lot of competition every year, only one team has been deemed as its true rival, which is Real Madrid. With Real Madrid as the richest club in the world, Barca comes as a close second.
The club players are being coached by Josep Guardiola, and can easily be spotted using their team colors: red, pink, yellow, and various shades of blue.
