LSU Tigers are a group of twenty varsity teams that represent the Louisiana State University located in Baton Rouge, Los Angeles. The teams compete in the Division I of the NCAA, specifically in the Southeastern Conference. The official nickname of the teams is the ìFightiní Tigers,î and they are led by their athletics director, Joe Alleva. Flaunting their purple and gold school colors, students and players are cheered on by their mascot called ìMike the Tiger.î
The LSU Tigers play their games at various places in the area such as the Pete Maravich Assembly Center as the home of the basketball team, the Tiger Stadium as the home of the football team, and the Alex Box Stadium as the home of the baseball team.
Each of the teams in the university have been successful in winning titles throughout the years. In fact, the football team has won 3 National Championships, while the baseball team has 6 National Championship titles.
