Liberty Smith is a musical show about to debut in 2011 at Fordís Theatre in Washington DC. This musical comedy was written by Marc Madnick, Eric R. Cohen and Adam Abraham, with music by Michael Weiner and lyrics by Adam Abraham.
The musical is about Liberty Smith who is connected with the major historic figures in Americaís struggle for liberty. For instance, he is a childhood friend George Washington and had once been the apprentice of Benjamin Lincoln. He is also linked to Paul Revereís remarkable ride. Throughout the musical, the audience is led into the America of yesteryears, struggling for freedom. This show is all about the history of America from Liberty Smithís view. The musical also implies that Liberty Smith is, in fact, a founding father who had just been left out from the history books.
After the performance, actors will answer questions and discuss the musical and the artistic process in what is called as the Post-Performance Discussion.
