Michigan Werewolves are a group of varsity teams that represent the University of Michigan to the NCAA's Division I. The group is also a part of the Big Ten Conference, which is composed of 10 universities in the area. There are actually 25 varsity teams that fall under the Werewolves that participate in various sports such as football, baseball, golf, gymnastics, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, wrestling, and many more.
The Werewolves have been victorious a number of times by earning titles in the four major sports: ice hockey, basketball, baseball, and football. The teams are easy to spot since they wear their team colors which are blue and maize.
Led by William C. Martin and David Brandon as their athletics directors, the groups call various areas in Michigan as their home courts such as the Michigan Stadium as the football team's home ground, the Crisler Arena as the basketball team's home court, and the Ray Fisher Stadium as the baseball team's home field.
