My Motherís Italian, My Fatherís Jewish, and Iím in Therapy is a hilarious play by Steve Solomon inspired by his family and all of the people in his life that has done nothing but drive him into therapy.
Steve Solomon plays himself in this production. This is a 90-minute show and Steve talks to the audience for the 85 minutes of the show. He uses his uncanny ability to mimic the voices of his parents and various people as well as his gift for recycling old, family jokes. Throughout the show, Steve gives his audience a recap of what it was like growing up with a family that has a bi-ethnic diversity.
Steve Solomon is a former teacher turned stand-up comic, playwright and performer. The showís jokes are of the bathroom variety and revolve around old age, illnesses, and sex. The show is outrageously funny and attracts adult audiences looking for a good laugh.
