About New York Giants
This is a National football league team based in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Giants were formed in the 1925 by Tim Mara, playing their first season in the same year. To distinguish themselves from the baseball New York giants, the team took on the name New York Football Giants which they use as their corporate name until today. The Giants were one of the first teams to join the NFL.

The Giants were riding the wave from 1933 to 1946, led by Hall of Fame coach Steve Owen and Mel Hein, Red Badgro and Tuffy Leemans, all of which went on to be inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. The era between 1947 and 1963 was also a successful one for the Giant, who were still headed by Hall of Fame coaches Vince Lombardi for the offense and Tom Landry coaching for the defense.

The Giants make their home at the Giants stadium, which they share with the New York Jets. The Giants are more popularly known as ‘the Big Blue’, ‘G-men’ and the ‘Big Blue Wrecking Crew’. During the Superbowl XXLII, the Giants defeated the New England Patriots, a win considered the third biggest upset and one of the best wins in the franchise history.

The Giants’ latest season in 2008 saw the team win the NFC East with a record of 12-4, but they eventually lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs.
Reviews and Fan Ratings ( 1 reviews)
Star Rating Love The Numbers: 95 but it Is For ... Nobody,
Really. This is sort of like No. 35 was, way back when we did that one. A few players have worn the number but no one you would really like to honor. Rocky Bernard wears it.
