Oklahoma Sooners Tickets

Oklahoma Sooners is the collective term that is used to refer to the 17 varsity sports teams of the University of Oklahoma. The Sooners include both the women’s and men’s teams. The Oklahoma Sooners compete in the South Division of the Big 12 Conference and in the NCAA’s Division I-A.

The Oklahoma Sooners’ home base is located in Norman, Oklahoma. Their official stadiums are the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium for football, the Lloyd Noble Center for the basketball arena and the L. Dale Mitchell Baseball Park for baseball.

In 2002, the Oklahoma Sooners ranked as the 3rd best college sports program in the United States by Sports Illustrated. The University of Oklahoma was also the first school to ever have a champion in both football and basketball in the same year which was in 2009.

The university is home to many athletic facilities which cater to the many varsity sport programs that it has. Among the many varsity sports that the Oklahoma Sooners cover include football, men’s basketball, baseball, men’s gymnastics, women’s basketball, women’s rowing and wrestling. Like many other schools, the Sooners have its own share of rivals which includes the University of Nebraska, University of Texas and the Oklahoma State University.
