Alan Jackson is a famous country music artist. Jackson is one of the artists who mixed Honky-Tonk and mainstream country sounds in his music.
Born as Eugene Jackson, his love for music started when he was just a kid. He began singing at an early age. Jackson got his first break when he signed with Arista. Early in his career, he did a commercial for Kraft. Jackson’s first album was entitled “New Traditional”. This album was released on Americana Records in 1987.
More than fifty of Jackson’s singles have reached Top 30 on the Billboard Country Charts. This includes twenty-five Number One singles. Jackson was also nominated for multiple awards. He was nominated and inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2001.
Early in 2006, Jackson released his first gospel album entitled “Precious Memories”. He put this album together by the request of his mother, who was fond of religious songs. Months after he debut “Precious Memories” Jackson released his next country album entitled “Like Red on a Rose”.
