Star Rating    Jersey Boys in Vegas
Spend the weekend in Vegas enjoying all kinds of great food, etc but the true highlight was seeing Jersey Boys. I didn't think I would like this music since it really wasn't by era of music, but I was wrong. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Vegas.

Star Rating    Jersey Boys simple amazing...
What a great show! You don't even need to have grown up during this time when Frankie Valli simply dominated the music scene in the early 60's. This is a great show to see. Highly recommended.

..This show is gold, with nearly three dozen songs that hit the top of the charts decades ago but remain irresistible.

About JerseyBoys
Jersey Boys’ is a documentary musical on the life of one of America’s most successful all-male vocal groups in the 1960s, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. It features the original songs of the group, with additional music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.

It follows the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from New Jersey became the best-selling matinee singing idols amid the struggles and challenges of being under the entertainment limelight.

The musical premiered in La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego, California in 2004, then a year later, went on to Broadway. The original cast featured John Lloyd Young who took home 4 major awards, including the Tony, in 2006 for playing Frankie Valli on the musical. ‘Jersey Boys’ itself became the Best Musical award recipient in the same year.

The production had jubilant runs in a national tour hitting major US cities, London’s West End and Melbourne. Everywhere ‘Jersey Boys’ went, critics were quick to rave about the high-octane dose of sixties music and rousing performances of the cast.

The original cast recording album was released in November 2005, becoming the winner for Grammy’s Best Musical Show Album. It earned a gold record, having sold more than half a million copies in the US.
