These guys simply rock the house. They are coming to London on Wednesday and I cant wait. Taking 3 of my friends. Sex on Fire might be one of the coolest songs.

These guys might be the best new band playing live these days. Not only are they talented but they perform an amazing show live. Personally Caleb is my favorite. Looking forward to seeing them again in Los Angeles on July 12.

About KingsOfLeon
Kings of Leon was formed in 1999, a rock band that eventually became known for its alternative rock songs, evolving slowly from southern and grass rock tunes in to the genre that they are known for today. Kings of Leon is composed of brothers Caleb, Nathan, Jared and cousin Matthel Followill. All of the members use their second names in the band.

The Followills were not strangers to living on the road, growing up as sons of a Southern preacher who preached in one Pentecostal church to the next every week. Forbidden to listen to secular music when they were young, everything changed when their parents divorced and the brothers decided to break into music. They made their debut with the EP Holly Roller Novocaine. The band’s first album Youth and Young Manhood came out in 2003 and they were hailed as rock and roll’s best new band in 2004 by British critics. However, appreciation for the band in the US was lukewarm at best.

Their second album Aha Shake Heartbreak was released in 2005 and debuted at number 3 on British music charts. After going on tour with U2 in the US, the band’s second album reached number 55 on the Billboard 200 countdown. They soon landed several gigs opening for Bob Dylan in 2006, right before they released their third album Because of the Times in the first half of 2007.
