Star Rating    Lakers Road Trip
What a road trip? Who schedules this many games on the road. The NBA and their need to get someone else to win the NBA Championship. This is ridiculous. Bring on the playoffs...

Star Rating    Lakers finding their groove
Since Dec 25 the Lakers have had some ups and down...A few injuries, but most importantly trying to find their groove. The Zen master seems to have found a way of getting through to the defending champs. Can the Lakers get home court advantage? Tough to say. San Antonio is playing really well.

Star Rating    Lakers OffSeason...
So far a good group of signing over the summer. NBA season is a few months away and I know all of the attention is on Miami, but the Lakers are defending champs and will be all year until they win three in a row.

Star Rating    Lakers v Celtics Game 1 at Staples Center
Tomorrow is game 1 of the NBA Finals. Looking forward to going and seeing the Lakers go up 1-0. What a great matchup. Kobe and Gasol have to play well.

Star Rating    Lakers: Big Game 6 v. Suns
BIG WIN in store for the Lakers tonight. We need the rest like Boston is going to get. Let's finish the Suns off and get some rest before the Finals. Go Lakers.

Star Rating    Lakers, Staples Center, Oh my...
Going to a Lakers game isn't just an ordinary basketball game - its an event and scene. Regardless of who they play, it usually sells out, especially for big games like the Cavs, Celtics, etc. If you like seeing a few celebs, this is a great place to go, but it has to be a marquee game. Get ready for Lakers playoffs.

About Los-Angeles-Lakers-
The defend champion (2009 -2010) Los Angeles Lakers represent Los Angeles, California in the National Basketball Association (NBA), playing for the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. This basketball team moved from one city to another before it found its current home in Los Angeles. Its home court is Staples Center and official team uniforms are decked in purple, gold and white.

The golden era of basketball saw the great rivalry between the Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The 1980s were spent with basketball fans seeing the Lakers amass five NBA championships under the steady guard of its players Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, Magic Johnson with their equally stellar coach, Pat Riley.

After a lull in the 90s, the Los Angeles Lakers swam against triumphant seasons with Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and Coach Phil Jackson. The team continued to topple records in basketball history. After the 2008-2009 season, they have the most wins, the highest winning percentage and the most number of NBA Finals appearances. Their latest triumph is the 2009 NBA championship title, which they clinched after beating Orlando Magic.

Hall of Famers who play for Los Angeles include Abdul-Jabbar, Worthy, Johnson, veteran George Mikan, and Elgin Baylor to name a few. Three head coaches have also been inducted into Hall of Fame honors.
