About MenopauseTheMusical
Menopause ñ The Musical is a musical that was premiered on March 2001 in a 76-seat theatre in Orlando, Florida, United States. The show was written by Jeanie Linders, and it showcased 25 songs where women discuss loss of memory, hot flashes, chocolate cravings, and sexual predicaments.

The show appeals to a lot of menopausal women, which Linders felt were neglected by most entertainers. Linders proved to be correct, and women came to the show in large droves, often taking advantage of promotions and group sales. Due to the showís success, Linders has expanded to other cities to host the show, and soon enough, various other countries had a chance to host the highly successful show.

Much of the showís appeal also comes from the fact that it uses a variety of songs that have been changed to fit the storyline. For instance, the song ìMy Guyî is changed to ìMy Thighs,î and other similar changes. After 1500 performances, however, Off-Broadway closed the production in 2006, although other shows have been running all over the world.
