Muse is a band that composed of Christopher Wolstenholme, Dominic Howard, and Matthew Bellamy. The group originated from Teignmouth, Devon, England, and was created in 1994. Muse are known for their music, which is a mixture of various music genres spanning from classical music, electronic, progressive rock, and heavy metal.
ìMuseî was not always the bandís name as it was formerly called ìRocket Baby Dollsî that came with a complete goth/glam image. This was during the time the band competed in a local Battle of the Bands in Teignmouth, which they subsequently won.
The band first played gigs in London and Manchester, which then lead to meetings with Sawmills Studio owner, Dennis Smith. The meetings produced their first proper recording called ìMuse EPî under Dangerous, Sawmillís in-house label. Soon enough, they released their second EP called the ì Muscle Museum EPî.
Lately, the band has been headlining concerts together with big names such as U2, Stevie Wonder, and Eminem.
