Rod Stewart is amazing I am so happy to see Rod Stewart going back on tour. To make things even better he is going on tour with Stevie Nicks the famous voice of Fleetwood Mac. This should be a great tour. reviewed on 2/25/2011 3:01:31 PM by Joann

About Rod-Stewart

Roderick David "Rod" Stewart is a singer and songwriter who was born on January 10, 1945 in London, England. Stewart is known for his distinctively raspy voice when singing, and for his numerous chart topping hits. His contribution to the entertainment industry has been highly recognized, so much so that he has been given the honors of the Order of the British Empire.

Since Stewart's family was huge fans of Al Jolson, Jolson became Stewart's main influence when it came to performing style and attitude towards the audience. By the time he was 15 years old, Stewart stopped going to school and instead went to work. However, as fate would have it, Stewart found his way into the music industry, and soon enough he made his recording debut in 1964 with the song "Up Above My Head."

Stewart has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994, and has been deemed as one of the best singers in the history of rock 'n roll. He currently resides in Epping, and still enjoys the fame that he has achieved through the years.
