Star Rating    Rush coming to Red Rocks
Red Rocks and Rush - there isn't a better combination. The band is so musically talented to begin with - add in the beauty and unreal sounds of Red Rocks and you have a magical two nights.

About Rush
Rush is a rock band that has been around since August 1968. The band originated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is composed of Geddy Lee, Neil Peart, and Alex Lifeson. Between its date of creation and 1974, the band went through some changes including the departure of John Rutsey, their original drummer, and their entry of their current lyricist and drummer, Neil Peart.

Geddy Lee was not the original front man, since this position was first held by Jeff Jones, who left the band before their second performance. After Rush gained the stability they needed in their lineup, they released their first single ìNot Fade Awayî, which is a Buddy Holly cover.

Incidentally, since the band already qualified for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame after being active for over 30 years, the Hall has reportedly refused to induct Rush. Nevertheless, Rush has been gained a substantial amount of recognition even without the recognition from the Hall.
