About Selena-Gomez

Selena Gomez is both an American singer and an actress. She is well-known for her role as Alex Russo on the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel Original Series, Wizards of Waverly Place.

At age seven, she embarked her acting career by playing Gianna on Barney and Friends. Afterwards, she was cast in minor roles in Spy Kids 3-D: Game over and the TV film Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire.

On 2008, she had a compilation album entitled DisneyMania 6, which included a cover of Cruella de Vil and a music video. She also formed an American pop rock band named Selena Gomez and the Scene which was founded by Selena Gomez, Ethan Roberts, Joey Clement, Greg Garman and Dane Forrest.

On 2009, Gomez announced that she has plans in launching her own fashion line called ìDream Out loud by Selena Gomezî which will start in fall 2010. As reported by Variety on 2010 of March, Gomez is set to star as one of the three lead roles in Monte Carlo.
