Star Rating    Hurry up May 21...
Denver U2 fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Bono and the gang to Invesco Field in Denver for the 360 Tour. This will kick off the North American tour that was cancelled last year due to Bono's back troubles.

Star Rating    U2 was amazing at the Rose Bowl
Saw U2 at the Rose Bowl in October 2009. What a great show! There largest concert ever. Opening act was Black Eyed Peas and they were actually good - it was a surprise. During BEP Slash came on stage and did Sweet Child o Mine. Fergie sang and it was like hearing old GNR. Outside of being gorgeous, she can sing.

Star Rating    U2 is the Worlds Greatest Band
U2 live is one of the most amazing live events you will ever see. I have seen them 8 times in the past 20 years and each time gets better. Catch the new tour starting in a few months.

About U2
U2 is an Irish Band who has already won 22 Grammy Awards, the highest number any band has ever attained. The band had humble beginnings on 1976 by the then-teenagers Bono (Paul Hewson), The Edge (Dave Evans), Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen Jr, Dave’s brother Dik, Ivan McCormick, and Peter Martin. The last three “dropped out” of the band at different timepoints due to different reasons but the band continued on. The band started with members of limited musical proficiency but grew into superstars with the release of their album, The Joshua Tree. By 2005, the band was already inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is also listed as #22 of Rolling Stone’s 100 greatest artists of all time. After several albums, the band sought to develop their own “tradition” and looked into American blues, country, and even Gospel music; these music genres soon showed in their subsequent albums. During the last years of the 80s, the band received much criticism on their songs, albums, and overall musicality. Tough criticism, especially by Rattle and Hum, pushed the band to change their music but the 90s was, again, not the best time for them.

In a bid to “reapply” as the “best band in the world”, U2 changed to a conventional rock genre and released All that You Can’t Leave Behind which contained singles that became worldwide hits and won Grammy Awards.
